Medessa Burian has been a Program Manager at the University of Maryland Environmental Finance Center (EFC) since 2011.  She currently manages the Municipal Online Stormwater Training (MOST) Center, the Ports of Delaware and Virginia Dray Truck Replacement Program, and the Green and Healthy Schools program.  She also oversees the EFC’s website and provides support to other programs with a particular focus on public health.  Prior to joining the EFC, Ms. Burian worked as a Project Director for Shattuck & Associates, Inc. performing technical assistance, training, capacity building, and practical evaluation for government and non-governmental health and education organizations.  She received a Master of Public Health from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a B.S. in Biology from Centre College in Danville, KY.
