Medessa Burian joined the Environmental Finance Center (EFC) as a Program Manager in 2011 and was named Faculty Assistant in 2017. She currently manages the Municipal Online Stormwater Training (MOST) Center, which provides online stormwater education and training to municipalities throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed, as well as the EFC’s air quality programming. Prior to joining the Center, Medessa worked as a Project Director for Shattuck & Associates, Inc. performing technical assistance, training, capacity building, and practical evaluation for government and non-governmental health and education organizations. She received a Master of Public Health from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a B.S. in Biology from Centre College in her home state of Kentucky.
